W moim osobistym przekonaniu być może zbyt szczegółowo opisany został bieg ultramaratoński, którego „akcja” przeplata się ze zmianami w życiu głównego bohatera. Moje odczucia mogą wynikać z tego, że jako biegaczka z całkiem pokaźnym stażem kilometrowym byłam „tam” nieraz i te przeżycia, przemyślenia i doświadczenia są mi dobrze znane.
