Kobiety mają trudniej - bo raz w miesiącu są "niedysponowane", bo zachodzą w ciążę, bo tyją "od liścia sałaty" i mają więcej tkanki tłuszczowej, bo... są narażone na gwałt lub molestowanie... O ile pierwsze kilka argumentów można z powodzeniem zepchnąć do worka z napisem "PRZESADA" to już ostatnie dwie kwestie chciałabym podkreślić - grubą czerwoną linią. Ostatnio temat jest mocno na czasie za sprawę ogólnoświatowej akcji #metoo (#jateż), którą zapoczątkowała amerykańska aktorka Alyssa Milano, która ujawniła, że była molestowana przez producenta filmowego Harveya Weinsteina.
Dla niewtajemniczonych (o ile jeszcze takie są) chodzi o to aby kobiety przyznały się na swoich profilach społecznościowych, że przytrafiło im się molestowanie seksualne - czy to słowne, czy fizyczne. Molestowanie bowiem to nie tylko gwałt czy klepanie po tyłku. To także seksistowskie teksty na rozmowie kwalifikacyjnej, na korytarzu, w pracy, na ważnym spotkaniu czy też na ulicy podczas treningu.
Zdarzyło Ci się kiedyś usłyszeć niewybredny komentarz o swoim "tyłeczku", "cycuszkach", krótkiej spódniczce, obcisłych spodenkach czy nawet wprost jakąś aluzję do seksu? To wszystko są teksty, które wpędzają kobietę w zakłopotanie i sprawiają, że czuje się ona słaba i poniżona, ale zasadniczo najczęściej nie zareaguje adekwatnie do sytuacji ponieważ boi się agresji (na ulicy) czy też utraty pracy, pozycji. Paradoks polega na tym, że w większości przypadków (o ile nie doszło do gwałtu) większość osób postronnych, którym nawet się zwierzy powie, że "przesadza" i że przecież nic się nie stało. Nawet jeśli kobieta zostanie zgwałcona wciąż można usłyszeć, że "sama się o to prosiła"! To niewiarygodne, że w XXI wieku w dalszym ciągu zdarzają się takie sytuacje.
Wiele razy zdarzyło mi się słyszeć obrzydliwe teksty z ust obcych obleśnych facetów. Conajmniej kilkanaście razy usłyszałam je podczas biegania. Niektóre słyszałam kilka lat temu, a nadal je pamiętam! Czy zatem naprawdę przesadzam pisząc o tym? Zdarzyło mi się też, że obcy facet na starcie biegu macał mnie po tyłku. Nie miałam się gdzie odsunąć, nie miałam jak zareagować, bo przecież na starcie jest tłum... ślepy tłum, który nie widzi. "No co ty? A może przypadkiem Cię dotknął?" - Nie, nie przypadkiem. Umiem rozpoznać przypadkowy dotyk od nachalnego "niewinnego" macania mnie po tyłku...
Boję się biegać sama po ciemnym mieście, niekomfortowo czuję się na ciemnych ulicach i na parkowych alejkach. Biegam kilkanaście lat, a zawsze kiedy wychodzę sama na trening po zmierzchu mam w sobie jakiś lęk. Nie chodzi o to, że jestem sparaliżowana strachem. Najczęściej go przełamuję, szukam bardziej uczęszczanych dróg w mojej okolicy i robię swoje z podniesioną głową. A jednak gdzieś tam w środku odczuwam lęk i... niesmak.
Czy zdarza się żeby ktoś zagwizdał za biegającym facetem? Albo zawołał do niego, że jest "ciacho"? Albo skomentował, że mu penis odpadnie jak będzie biegł (w nawiązaniu do "cycków")? Nie słyszałam o takim przypadku. Komentarzy pod kątem kobiet słyszałam aż nadto i nie wszystkie nawet nadają się do powtarzania. Wiem, że jestem atrakcytjną blondynką i być może mój tyłek (wypracowany skądindąd ciężką pracą) wygląda sexy w obcisłych biegowych legginsach. Komplermenty przyjmuję z uśmiechem na twarzy. Ale tylko takie na poziomie. Naprawdę nie potrzebuję o tym słyszeć podczas treningu w parku z ust obcego gościa. Nie chcę tego słyszeć. Chcę czuć się swobodnie i po prostu zrobić swój trening. I chcę, żeby moim bliscy - rodzina i znajomi - wiedzieli jak się z tym czuję. Żeby wiedzieli, że czuję ten lęk i że naprawdę nie przesadzam.
Być może ty też masz w sobie taki strach? Warto mówić o tym głośno. Niech znajomi, rodzina, mąż, chłopak, narzeczony - niech wiedzą, że boisz się samotnie włóczyć po nocach i że przyda ci się wsparcie. Może wtedy niebiegający partner lepiej zrozumie dlaczego wieczorami zamiast biegać sama wybierasz towarzystwo kolegów? A może wyjdzie z Tobą i potrenujecie razem? Nie pozwój nikomu zamienić twoich obaw w żart, wyśmiać i zaprzeczyć. To nie jest rzecz, którą można zbagatelizować zwykłym "nie przesadzaj". Chodzi o twój komfort, twoją pewność siebie, twoją godność. Rozmawiajmy.
